Practice Limited to Microscopic Endodontics

Meet the Doctors

Dr. James Chen

Prior to finishing his specialty training, as Endodontist, Dr. Chen practiced as General Dentist for seven years in Southern California.   Soon after finishing his specialty residency, from UCLA, Dr. Chen moved to Chino, California and has been practicing as an Endodontist, since 2004.

From 2008 to 2012, Dr Chen served as a faculty member with UCLA School of Dentistry, section of Endodontics. Dr. Chen not only helped out the didactic courses for dental students, he also supervised the school’s endodontic clinics, for both dental students and specialty residents.  His teaching experience has made him a better clinician, by keeping him up to date with the latest technology, inspired by a state of the art teaching institute.

Due to the increasing load from his Endodontic practice, Dr. Chen elected leave his beloved UCLA teaching job and will greatly miss passing down the torch to the new generations to come, for he has promised to return, once his time is manageable again.

On his free time, Dr. Chen likes to read and do wood crafting. He thinks wood crafting has a lot of similarity to dentistry, for both need precision and artistry; in addition, to the usages of several gadgets and joyfully welcomes new gadgets in the art of endodontic therapy.
